What a fabulous weekend it was! After some weeks of preparation, we finally got to exhibit in the Legal Career Fair organized by KL Bar.

We are really happy with the outcome of the event. It followed hot on the heels of our UM (University Malaya) campaign which was held on the same week! More on this in the next post.

The Legal Career Fair kicked off at 10am. eLawyer team was at the Legend Hotel 8.30am to setup. Most firms were there already with half completed booths, while we were still waiting for the Hotel to gather some tables for us. Next came the projector setup.

Since we are “e” Lawyer, it makes sense to have an Internet connection too. Off we went to the Business Centre to buy an 8 hour WiFi access package for RM50…Wow they must be making loads on this! But it turned out that the expensive Internet connection was pretty hopeless and dropped out every 2 minutes. Just as well we had a local server prepared to display our website.

The first batch of jobseekers came at 9.55am. eLawyer’s welcoming committee was ready.

Fifteen minutes later, a huge group of students from Taylor’s College arrived. We found ourselves wishing that we had 20 people to serve them instead of just the team of 7 people!

Petronas was just inside the entrance, lunch business was quiet though…

while eLawyer was doing brisk business.

We had T-shirts and prizes too.

Some of the participants who were signing up as jobseekers on our website. All in all, we had more than 200 of them!

eLawyer did a little touring of the event too.

We managed to catch a breather after lunch, but it was still quite busy.
