The Law Faculty of University of Malaya (UM) is the most prestigious and longest history of law school in Malaysia. There are many famous Malaysian lawyers graduated from here, amongst others, Dato’ Loh Siew Cheang, the authority of Malaysian Corporate Law, Mr Teo Boon Kwang, the authority of Malaysian Trade Mark Law and many others.

eLawyer is so excited and proud to start its 1st campus Member Day Campaign in UM on 8-9 January 2008.

Our smart eLawyer Team set up a registration counter in front of the Law Library, which was the most visited spot in the whole faculty.

Richard was patiently explaining the features and benefits of eLawyer to the students.

As mentioned in our site, it is free to register as a Basic Member. In fact, those who have signed up as a member on the UM Member Day received a nice eLawyer pen as a gift. Not only this, they will also stand a chance to win some great prizes including an Apple iPod Shuffle and many more (we will blog about our Lucky Draw Prizes in our next post). 

At the end of the day, the response was just so overwhelming and encouraging. More than 300 law students signed up as Basic Member (out of total 400 students). Based on the successful sign up rate, we are hopeful on the prospects for eLawyer in the law student fraternity, our future lawyers.
