Role Overview

Our client, a leading Malaysian law firm, is currently seeking Banking & Finance Associates (1–3 PQE) to join their Financial Services practice, focusing on high-quality transactional banking and finance work.

Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be involved in a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including:

Drafting and reviewing loan and facility agreements
Syndicated lending and cross-border financing transactions
Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Sukuk structures
Islamic finance transactions
Infrastructure and project finance matters
Real estate development financing
Regulatory and financial services advisory work

Job Requirements

We are seeking lawyers with:

1–3 years PQE in Banking & Finance, Capital Markets or Islamic Finance
Exposure to cross-border financing transactions (preferred)
Experience in infrastructure or project finance (advantageous)
Knowledge of DCM and/or Sukuk structures is highly desirable
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong interest in developing a long-term career in transactional banking law
