Knowledge Lawyer (Tax – APAC)

Overview

Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for a Knowledge Lawyer (Tax) to support its regional APAC Tax Practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tax practitioners who are passionate about technical excellence, thought leadership, and developing best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse tax developments across APAC jurisdictions.
• Manage the firm’s tax knowledge resources, precedents, and publications.
• Review tax legislation, case law, articles, and industry updates, keeping the wider team informed of key developments.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions across regional offices.
• Partner with the Business Development team to prepare client alerts, publications, and event materials.
• Support regional tax conferences by assisting with agenda planning and content development.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Lawyers across Asia and the UK to drive knowledge initiatives and best practices.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer or former legal practitioner with strong technical tax expertise.
• Experience handling cross-border tax matters across APAC jurisdictions would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Strong interest in knowledge management, legal innovation, and professional development.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present technical content and deliver training.
• Able to work collaboratively in a regional, international environment.
