About the Client

Our client is a leading full-service law firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence. The firm advises major corporate clients on a broad spectrum of employment advisory and dispute matters. Known for its practical, commercially focused approach, it provides an outstanding platform for lawyers to lead and expand a key practice area. They are seeking an experienced Employment Partner to join and further strengthen their Employment Practice.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex employment and labour law matters, including advisory, transactional, and contentious work.
  • Advise corporate clients, multinational companies, and senior executives on employment contracts, workplace investigations, restructuring, retrenchments, and compliance matters.
  • Represent clients in employment-related disputes, mediations, and proceedings before relevant tribunals and courts.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the employment practice.
  • Mentor and supervise associates within the team.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership, and client relationship management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8-15 years’ post-qualification experience with substantial employment law exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of clients and generate work.
  • Strong technical expertise in employment advisory and dispute resolution.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
