Litigation Senior Associate / Partner (Global Law Firm)

About the Client

Our client is a reputable law firm in KL with international law firm affiliation. They are looking for a litigation lawyer (SLA/Partner) to join them.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception to completion, including strategy development and execution
• Conduct and/or assist in full trial proceedings, including examination and cross-examination of witnesses
• Attend court for case managements, interlocutory applications, hearings, and appeals
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, written submissions, and legal opinions
• Advise clients on legal risks, case strategy, and settlement options

Requirements

• Good academic results from a well regarded university.
• 4 to 10 PQE litigation relevant experience is preferably.
• Proven experience handling matters independently.
• Prior exposure to trial work is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and drafting skills in English.
• Possess an outgoing personality and leadership qualities.
• Clear demonstration of ability to work in a team and displays leadership skills.
• A team player who is committed and leadership qualities.
• Willing to travel.
