1. Litigation/Arbitration Matters (Malaysia)

a. Advising and managing all existing and potential litigation/arbitration matters relating to the Group (including property-related disputes and employee disputes)
b. Providing/reporting legal updates to the stakeholders (where relevant)

2. Corporate Matters relating to Property Matters (Malaysia)

a. Drafting agreements/documents relating to transactions with potential partners, property agents, tenants, media agencies, consultants, etc (including joint ventures, memorandum of understanding, potential collaboration, etc)
b. Dealing with all legal and regulatory matters relating to the contractor, consultants, purchasers, tenants and partners
c. Advising on the provisions in the PAM Contract 2006, PAM Sub-Contract 2006 as well as all relevant documents with the main contractor, consultants, etc (i.e. the Architect, Quantity Surveyor)
d. Advising on laws and regulations relating to property, property development and property management as well as the Malaysia's Temporary Measures for Reducing The Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019

3. Other Corporate Matters (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia)

a. Providing legal advice on corporate transactions involving the Group (i.e. internal restructuring, acquisitions and/or disposals, fund management, fundraising, etc)
b. Drafting or reviewing the relevant agreements/documents (i.e. loan agreement, subscription agreement, shareholders agreement, share sale agreement, etc)

4. Other Matters (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia)

a. Reviewing general agreements relating to the day-to-day operations (i.e. non-disclosure agreement, licence agreement, service agreement, partnership agreement, etc)

5. Specific Compliance Matters (Malaysia)

a. Facilitating the continued implementation of the anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy within the Group in Malaysia such as responding to queries or amendments by third parties (including those from the Group's service providers, consultants, etc).
1. Possess a minimum Bachelor's Degree and/or professional qualification in law, with 10-15 years of legal experience with a reputable law firm or otherwise as corporate counsel within Malaysia or globally.

2. Have specific experience in litigation, property development and/or corporate matters, it will be an added advantage.

3. Have excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.

4. Have excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English. Proficient in other languages e.g. Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia are nice-to-haves.

5. Are a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an attention to detail.

6. Have the ability to analyse situations and information with sound judgement.

7. Are able to travel for work assignments within or outside of the region.
