1. Legal Advisory:

- Provide expert legal counsel on a wide range of corporate commercial banking matters, including loan agreements, credit facilities, and syndicated lending.
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions to support the bank's objectives.
- Advise the banks on any other matters necessary, including compliance, risk management, and business development, to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.

2. Contractual Expertise:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to corporate banking activities.
- Ensure that contracts and agreements are in compliance with legal requirements and best industry practices.
- Advise on contract disputes and negotiations as needed.

3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay current with banking laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure the bank's activities are compliant.
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes and their potential impact on the bank's operations.
- Work closely with the compliance team to develop and implement compliance programs.

4. Risk Management:
- Assess legal risks associated with corporate banking transactions and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Assist in the identification and management of legal risks across the organization.
- Conduct legal due diligence for potential transactions and acquisitions.

5. Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior legal staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Support the legal department in achieving its goals and objectives.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a lawyer, with a strong emphasis on corporate commercial banking and financial services.

- Proven track record in advising on complex banking transactions and regulatory matters.

- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

- Excellent legal research and writing abilities.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Leadership and mentoring experience are a plus.
