Responsibilities
-Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, supplier agreements, reseller agreements, marketing-related agreements, and service level agreements. Experience in technology contracts is preferable.
-Provide legal support for the company's corporate exercise in the region, with a preference for experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
-Advise and ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of business operations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with regulatory matters, particularly in anti-bribery and personal data protection.
-Advise and guide the business team in addressing complaints and disputes.
-Manage the company's licenses and certifications, ensuring they are up-to-date and in compliance with relevant regulations.
-Stay informed and ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, rulings, regulations, and laws that affect the company's operations.
-Draft, review, and implement company policies and procedures. Provide training to employees to ensure understanding and compliance.
-Manage the company's legal documents, contracts, agreements, correspondence, due diligence forms, and etc. Experience in handling electronic signing is a bonus.
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in law or a related field is required.
-Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a legal role, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in technology contracts and M&A.
-Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiating, and problem-solving skills. Experience in cross-functional project management is highly desirable.
-Ability to independently undertake and conduct legal research to support decision-making and compliance efforts.
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
-Able to start work as soon as possible is an added advantage.
