They are now looking for a SME / Corporate Banking Associate with hands-on experience in commercial and SME loan documentation, corporate banking and property transactions.

1) Manage SME and corporate loan documentation from start to completion, including facility agreements, security documentation, debentures and guarantees.

2) Advise banks and corporate clients on legal issues relating to financing, securities and compliance.

3) Handle property transactions involving purchase, sale, financing and refinancing of residential and commercial properties (both sub-sale and developer projects).

4) Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as tenancy agreements, joint venture agreements and corporate documents.

5) Liaise with financial institutions, corporate clients and property developers to ensure timely completion of transactions.

6) Provide legal advice on regulatory requirements, stamp duty and tax implications related to property and financing matters.

7) Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, rules and banking regulations.

8) Represent clients in discussions, negotiations and documentation processes with professionalism and efficiency.
1) Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.

2) 3 to 8 years of PQE with experience in SME loans, commercial loans and corporate banking (exposure to property-related financing is an advantage).

3) Solid understanding of banking documentation, corporate loan structures and property financing.

4) Strong drafting and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail.

5) Ability to manage multiple matters independently while maintaining strong client relationships.

6) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7) Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred.
