1) Litigation (Civil, Commercial & Banking)
Handle a broad range of civil, corporate, commercial and banking litigation matters
Manage cases from inception to conclusion, including pleadings, trials, submissions and execution proceedings
Conduct full trials, originating summons, summary judgment, striking out, interlocutory applications and execution proceedings
Represent clients in arbitration and adjudication proceedings where applicable
Manage recovery, foreclosure, insolvency and enforcement matters, particularly for banking clients

2) Islamic Finance & Advisory
Advise banking and financial institution clients on Islamic finance compliance, risk management and regulatory matters
Handle high-volume recovery and foreclosure matters relating to Islamic banking facilities

3) Syariah & Inheritance Practice
Represent clients in Syariah court matters, both contentious and non-contentious
Handle matrimonial, family, and inheritance matters, including probate, letters of administration, wills, trusts, estate planning and wealth structuring
Manage sensitive and confidential matters involving high-net-worth individuals

4) Client & Stakeholder Management
Liaise with multinational companies, financial institutions, statutory bodies, government agencies, courts and private clients
Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships
1) 5 to 6 PQE in litigation practice

2) Syariah law experience is required

3) Exposure to Islamic finance matters is a strong advantage

4) Able to handle matters independently with minimal supervision

5) Strong drafting, advocacy and analytical skills
